Job summary

KPJ Kuala Selangor Specialist Hospital seeks a strategic leader to oversee nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff development. The role focuses on safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing leadership across the facility.

The successful candidate will conduct daily ward rounds, monitor post-operative and critically ill patients, and collaborate with other services to sustain smooth workflows and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid Annual Practicing Certificate from Nursing Board of Malaysia.
• Bachelor of Nursing and any recognized post-basic qualification.
• Master’s degree preferred or enrollment within two years of promotion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the nursing team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Perform daily ward rounds and monitor post-operative and critical patients.
• Coordinate with other services to ensure smooth workflow and continuity of care.
• Present data and incidents at hospital clinical committee meetings to drive improvements.
• Participate in recruitment, development, and performance assessments of nursing staff.
