Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a senior Nursing Leader responsible for strategic direction and oversight of all nursing services. You will drive high-quality patient care, optimize workflows, and monitor safety and clinical quality across units.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, coordinate with hospital services, and participate in governance and staff development initiatives to ensure excellence in nursing practices and continued professional growth.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Annual Practising Certificate from the Nursing Board of Malaysia.
Bachelor of Nursing degree is required.
Post-basic qualifications recognized by Nursing Board of Malaysia are preferred.
Master's degree or enrollment in a master's program is encouraged within two years of promotion.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversee all nursing operations to ensure high-quality patient care.
Organize, direct and coordinate with other services to ensure smooth workflow and safe patient care.
Monitor daily nursing operations and conduct regular rounds to assess patient progress and safety.
Attend and contribute to nursing management meetings and clinical committee discussions.
Monitor incidents, quality initiatives and patient safety goals; report and follow up within 24 hours as needed.
Coach and develop Nursing Management Team and unit staff; ensure compliance with policies and ethics.
