Job summary

Teradyne in Penang seeks a seasoned Test Engineer for Nextest to support Magnum Testers in high-volume manufacturing. You will drive yield and reliability improvements and collaborate with the US team on product transfer, part qualification, and software validation.

Interface with suppliers, design engineering, board test and manufacturing to achieve performance goals. You should have a BSEE with 5+ years in electronics, strong testing methodologies, and hands-on scripting; experience with

Qualifications

BSEE with 5+ years in electronics/related industry.
Experience with testing methodologies and scripting for test automation.
Strong knowledge of analog circuitry and device characterization.
Proven ability to move products from NPI to mass production.
Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

Support Magnum Testers NPI and high-volume manufacturing issues.
Drive production yield and reliability improvements.
Assist US team on part qualification, software validation and product transfer.
Interface with suppliers, design engineering, board test and manufacturing to achieve goals.
Perform product performance and reliability analyses to guide design improvements.
Coordinate with US engineering on technical issues as needed.
Collaborate on supplier and contract manufacturer projects as required.
