Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a Network Security Support Engineer to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for clients. You will collaborate with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable networks.

The role requires 2+ years in IT security/networking, strong knowledge of routing protocols and security solutions (NGFW, DDOS, Cloud Security, WAF), and the ability to work under pressure and in customer environments.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of work experience in IT related field – network, system, and security.
• Strong knowledge in Network and Routing protocol.
• Strong knowledge in Security solution (NGFW, DDOS, Cloud Security, WAF) or equivalent.
• Demonstrate problem solving skills.
• Professional knowledge of ICT security, network and application products.
• Possess Own transport.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions for clients.
• Deploy End Point Security Solutions (Trend Micro, CrowdStrike, FortiClient EMS, Sophos).
• Work with clients, project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver network projects.
• Work extended office hours and after office hours when needed.

As a Network Security Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with our clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of network projects. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing network performance, enhancing security, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of our clients' networks.

Responsibilities

Experience in deployment of End Point Security Solution (Trend Micro, CrowdStrike, FortiClient EMS, Sophos)

Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision

Able to adapt in customer work environment

Able to work as a team

Dynamic, systematic and self-motivated person

Work on complex deals and provide response to RFPs related to product, integration, delivery, Installation and maintenance.

Willing to work extended office hours and after office hours when needed.

Requirements:

Candidates must process at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

At least 2 years of work experience in IT related field – network, system, and security.

Strong knowledge in Network and Routing protocol.

Strong knowledge in Security solution (NGFW, DDOS, Cloud Security, WAF) or equivalent.

Demonstrate problem solving skills.

Professional knowledge of terminology, trends and concepts of ICT security, network and application products.

Possess Own transport.
