Job summary

DCSS Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an Experienced Presales Engineer to bridge our sales and customer teams. You will showcase our infrastructure, virtualization, and cybersecurity solutions, including Privileged Access Management and Zero Trust platforms, through compelling PoCs and demonstrations.

The role requires 3+ years in enterprise infra, virtualization, or cybersecurity, with hands-on VMware/Hyper-V/KVM/OpenStack/Nutanix experience, and cloud familiarity across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, or cybersecurity environments
• Proficient in VMware/Hyper-V/KVM/OpenStack/Nutanix
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux, VM deployments and migrations (P2V/V2V)
• Understanding of identity and access management and Zero Trust
• Experience supporting or implementing Zero Trust frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering
• Certifications such as VCP, CCNA, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements
• Design and deliver compelling proofs of concepts, product demos, and solution architectures tailored to customer needs
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop comprehensive solutions across infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, and cybersecurity
• Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, including solution positioning, RFP/RFQ responses, and customer presentations
• Propose and demonstrate Zero Trust Security and virtualization concepts using suitable technologies and platforms
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, solution proposals, and design blueprints
• Facilitate smooth post-sales handover to delivery and implementation teams

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, or cybersecurity environments
• Strong proficiency with enterprise virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, OpenStack, Nutanix)
• Practical experience with OS environments (Windows Server, Linux), virtual machine deployments and migrations (P2V/V2V), and resource optimization
• Solid foundational understanding of cybersecurity, including identity and access management, network security, and Zero Trust principles
• Experience supporting or implementing Zero Trust frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with:
  • Enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS)
  • Network infrastructure and security architecture
  • Backup and disaster recovery planning
  • Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) models and Zero Trust Security platforms
• Strong business and communication skills, including:
  • Technical presentations and stakeholder engagement
  • Project management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Solution pricing, TCO, and ROI analysis
