Job summary

SAM Malaysia is seeking a qualified NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing using FPI and MPI in line with approved work instructions. You will assess surface indications, verify documentation, and ensure traceability across processed parts.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering, 1–3 years of inspection experience, and familiarity with NDT processes. Altogether you contribute to SAM's aerospace and semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent; 1–3 years in manufacturing/inspection.
• Experience with FPI and/or MPI preferred; aerospace exposure helps.
• Basic understanding of NDT sequence, drawings, criteria, and traceability.
• Good attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and basic English.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspection using approved FPI/MPI methods.
• Verify part identity, traveler, route, and process requirements.
• Maintain records, traceability, and material disposition per procedure.
• Prepare and monitor NDT equipment and process media; escalate issues when needed.
