Job summary

CelcomDigi Berhad is seeking a Security Specialist (Technology Infrastructure) on a contract basis to lead nationwide physical security for data centres, hubs, telco towers and other tech facilities. You will drive governance, compliance, incident management and loss prevention across sites.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of physical security experience, a related bachelor's degree, and will oversee security systems, vendor management, and technology projects while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• 8+ years of physical security experience and site protection.
• Bachelor's degree in Security Management or related field.
• Experience with security operations, CCTV, access control and perimeter security.
• Proven liaison with government authorities and law enforcement.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, investigation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to maintain security records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead nationwide physical security operations for technology facilities.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of security systems.
• Drive governance, standards, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Malaysian laws and agencies.
• Oversee vendor management and contract performance.
• Manage security projects, technology and transformation initiatives.
• Lead incident response, investigations, and loss prevention.
• Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly security reporting.
