Citi in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Custody Asset Servicing Representative (Hybrid) to join our Securities Services team. You will reconcile and process positions related to Corporate Action events, support a wide range of products, and operate under limited supervision.

The role emphasizes risk awareness and compliance, participates in UAT, and offers on‑the‑job training in a global banking environment, with development opportunities and a collaborative work culture.

Qualifikationen

• Working knowledge of investment instruments including equities, fixed income and asset-backed securities.

• This role will manage reconciling and processing positions related to Corporate Action events
• Revisions of communications, notifications and postings for Corporate Action or Proxy events
• Works under limited supervision supporting an expansive array of products/services
• Executes moderate to complex transactions
• Provides support to most operational processes as needed
• Properly monitors errors to adhere to audit and control policies
• Understands the procedures and controls required for custody accounts
• Participate in activities related to compliance
• Participates on UAT implementation and training activities
• Provides feedback on project related activities
• Assist with special reports and projects, and performs all other job duties as assigned by supervisor
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

In this role, you’re expected to:

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 0-1 years relevant experience
• Prior work experience in a related job that would provide a basic knowledge activities, policies, and procedures of the work area
• Intermediate MS Office skills
• Can demonstrate a working knowledge of technical and professional principles and concepts related to the business
• Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments including: Equity securities, Fixed Income and Asset Backed securities
• Proven success as a team player
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Able to work on Malaysia Public Holiday
