About the role

We are seeking a talented Multimedia Designer to join our creative team at Shine Group. This is a full-time position based in Kulai, Johor. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual content across multiple media platforms, combining artistic vision with technical expertise to produce designs that engage and inspire our audiences. This position is central to our brand identity and plays a vital role in communicating our messages effectively to our target market.

Key responsibilities

Design and produce high-quality graphic content including digital illustrations, layouts, and visual assets for various marketing and communication materials

Create multimedia content for web, print, social media, and video projects, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and visual standards

Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to develop creative concepts and deliver designs that meet project objectives and deadlines

Develop storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes for multimedia projects to visualise concepts and gather stakeholder feedback

Maintain and update design assets, templates, and resources to ensure brand consistency across all platforms and materials

Stay current with design trends, software updates, and industry best practices to continuously improve creative output

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance overall creative strategy and campaign effectiveness

What we're looking for

Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Fine Arts, or a related creative discipline

Proven experience as a Multimedia Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar creative role with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work across various media formats

Proficiency in industry-standard design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and other multimedia tools

Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, layout, and composition

Experience in video editing, animation, or motion graphics design is highly desirable

Excellent visual communication skills with the ability to translate concepts and ideas into compelling visual designs

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple projects and deliverables

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams whilst managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines

Good communication skills and the ability to present design concepts clearly to clients and team members

Knowledge of web design principles, UX/UI basics, and responsive design practices is advantageous
