Job summary

SLP Green Tech in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia, seeks a maintenance technician to care for mechanical and electrical equipment across production, workshop, and QA areas. Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance of the machines and equipment both mechanical and electrical.
• Responsible for production, workshop, and QA equipment maintenance related to mechanical nature.
• Provides technical advice and guidance to the production personnel to achieve cost, productivity and quality requirements.
• Advises the Maintenance Officer on the machine condition and necessary corrective action.
• Assists the Technical Manager and Maintenance Officer in trouble shooting machine / equipment malfunction and establishes corrective action.
• Responsible for the electrical installation and maintenance to support production and general facilities.
• Responsible for the machine / equipment installation and fitting jobs.
• To keep the machine / equipment and workshop clean and orderly.
• Responsible for maintenance of the building.
• To undertake other duties assigned or directed by the Maintenance Officer from time to time.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities such as Department of Environment (DOE), Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), Bomba and etc.
• Responsible on monitoring the compliance with ISO9001, ISO22000, BRC Standard and related documentation.
