Job summary

KUNZZ HOLDINGS SDN BHD is seeking a detail-oriented accountant to manage full sets of accounts for multiple companies within the group in Johor. You will handle AP/AR, GL, month-/year-end closes, and bank reconciliations while ensuring compliance with Malaysian accounting standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with local statutory requirements. Independent work style with good time management is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience with full set accounts.
• Experience handling multiple companies / multiple sets of accounts is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiar with Malaysian accounting and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle and maintain full sets of accounts for multiple companies within the group
• Manage daily accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and supporting schedules
• Perform month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
• Monitor company expenses, payments and cash flow
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documents are complete and properly maintained
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audit and tax purposes
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and relevant authorities when required
• Assist in corporate tax, SST and other statutory matters where applicable
