Job summary

White Code Labs is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with deep mortgage and lending industry expertise to support client discovery, workflow assessments, and solution design.

This client-facing role focuses on identifying pain points, gaps, and opportunities to automate processes through enterprise integration and workflow automation. You will collaborate with leadership during engagements and translate business needs into practical technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture or related fields.
• Extensive experience in mortgage, lending, banking, or mortgage tech.
• Strong understanding of mortgage workflows and lender challenges.
• Experience with enterprise integration, APIs, workflow automation, and data flows.
• Proven experience participating in discovery calls, requirements workshops, and executive-level client discussions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client discovery calls with mortgage and lending organizations.
• Understand mortgage workflows including applications, document collection, processing, underwriting, broker/lender interactions, settlement, and related operations.
• Identify manual processes, system gaps, duplicated data, handoffs, exceptions, and bottlenecks.
• Assess opportunities for workflow automation and enterprise system integration.
• Understand client technology environments and how systems can work together more effectively.
• Translate business problems into smart, practical, scalable technology solutions.
• Help define solution architecture, integrations, workflows, data flows, and future-state processes.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
