Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Credit Analyst to assess mortgage applications, evaluate financial status, and determine risk before approval.

You will ensure timely processing and maintain high standards of accuracy to prevent fraudulent activities.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen required.
• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Business Studies or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit evaluation, recommendations and approval for Mortgage applications.
• Evaluate and recommend loans for approval beyond discretionary power.
• Evaluate applicant's financial status, credit worthiness and risk before providing credit terms.
• Ensure mortgage applications are processed within internal turnaround time.
• Detect fraudulent applications and tampered/suspicious documents; escalate to Fraud Management Unit.

Job Responsibilities:

• To perform credit evaluation, recommendations and approval for Mortgage applications

• To ensure mortgage applications are processed within internal turnaround time
• To detect fraudulent application, tampered/ suspicious documents and ensure timely fraud escalation to the Fraud Management Unit.
