Job summary

Exentec is seeking a Lead to coordinate technically between design and fabrication teams for modular MEP racks in Penang. You will ensure engineering requirements are translated into efficient, buildable manufacturing solutions.

The role requires reviewing BIM models, drawings, and specs, solving interface clashes, and coordinating with consultants and contractors to support fabrication, assembly, and site installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in MEP engineering, data centre construction, modular construction, or DfMA environments.
• Able to review and interpret BIM models, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Review BIM models, shop drawings, and engineering specifications for modular MEP rack fabrication.
• Translate design information into clear manufacturing and assembly instructions.
• Resolve technical issues and interface clashes between mechanical, electrical, and structural systems prior to fabrication.
• Coordinate material specifications, technical submittals, and compliance requirements with consultants and main contractors.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, and site installation.
