Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Penang is seeking an AI/ML Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and scale AI/ML solutions on our analytics platform for manufacturing and semiconductor sectors.

This role blends classical ML with Generative AI, focusing on anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and market intelligence, and requires solid implementation skills plus growing architectural understanding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as ML/CS/Data Science.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in ML/AI with classical ML and GenAI/LLM projects.
• Hands-on with Scikit-learn and XGBoost; deep learning tools (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Exposure to RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic tools.
• Solid Python, Git, testing, and knowledge of MLOps (monitoring, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock or comparable GenAI platforms; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to unified AI/ML capabilities by integrating classical ML with Generative AI platforms.
• Develop anomaly detection and predictive maintenance systems on sensor and test data.
• Assist in building RAG pipelines and agentic workflows for automated tasks.
• Build summarization/extraction pipelines from reports and data to market intelligence.
• Support a GenAI Q&A chatbot delivering domain-specific insights from sensor data.
• Work on regression, classification, clustering, and time-series; explore GenAI hybrids.
• Apply NLP techniques to extract insights from unstructured sources.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum with MLOps, data engineering, and product teams; CI/CD.
• Perform model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, feature engineering, drift monitoring.
• Enhance data pipelines using Spark, vector databases, and distributed processing.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related quantitative field
