Job summary

Gen Digital Inc. Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build and maintain high-performing ML models in production. You will frame business problems, prototype and evaluate ML methods, and help automate ML pipelines with best practices for the Data Science team.

We value strong statistical background, Python/SQL skills, and experience with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost and LightGBM. Familiarity with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical, statistical or actuarial background.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with hands-on ML experience.
• Experience deploying ML models in production and MLOps familiarity.
• Ability to frame business problems and translate to ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Frame and contextualize machine learning problems for business value.
• Research, build and deploy ML models to production systems.
• Analyse data to select appropriate datasets for modelling and testing.
• Automate and optimise ML workflows with MLOps tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers to improve system design.
