HORIZONTECH INDUSTRIES SDN BHD is seeking a skilled Welder (MIG/TIG) to join our Penang manufacturing team on a full-time basis. The Welder will join our operations to ensure high-quality welding and precision across metal components, following MIG and TIG techniques to meet strict specifications and customer requirements.

The role requires proven MIG/TIG welding experience, ability to read drawings, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

Proven MIG and TIG welding experience with a solid portfolio.
Valid welding certification or qualification in MIG/TIG.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
Knowledge of different metal types and their welding characteristics.
Commitment to safety protocols and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding operations on metal components according to drawings and procedures.
Execute TIG welding tasks with precision on stainless steel and aluminium.
Inspect welded joints for defects, dimensions and surface quality.
Prepare and position workpieces, fixtures and equipment for welding.
Maintain and adjust welding equipment for safety and optimal performance.
Document welding procedures, materials used and issues encountered.
Collaborate with supervisors and QA to meet production schedules and quality standards.
