Job summary

Vandewiele Software Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to join a global team focused on ensuring quality across a .NET/Angular MES platform and microservices architecture. You will build automated tests, scale Playwright-based frameworks, and own end-to-end test coverage across UI, APIs, and integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation (UI + API + integration).
• Experience with Playwright (preferred), Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Experience testing Angular frontends and distributed system architectures.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Experience working with integration-heavy systems and end-to-end workflows.
• Ability to contribute to test strategy and quality design discussions, not just execution.
• Strong debugging skills across services, APIs, and data layers.
• Good understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) for validation and test setup.
• Experience in MES, industrial, or enterprise platforms is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Job description

You will be part of a larger global team, working closely with R&D, Product Management, and the Engineering Teams.

In this role, you'll ensure the quality and reliability of our MES platform built on .NET, Angular, and microservices architecture across UI, APIs, and integrations.

You will be hands-on in building and maintaining automation, while also shaping how quality is engineered across the system.

Quality is not a separate step, it's embedded in how we build. As you'll own quality withing the team, you'll take ownership of that mindset, ensuring reliability, stability, and fast feedback in our delivery.

Your work will directly impact how confidently we release features across complex, interconnected systems and partner integrations.

Key responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for our products.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.

Strong hands-on experience in test automation (UI + API + integration).

Experience with Playwright (preferred), Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.

Experience testing Angular frontends and distributed system architectures.

Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration in Azure DevOps or similar tools.

Experience working with integration-heavy systems and end-to-end workflows.

Ability to contribute to test strategy and quality design discussions, not just execution.
