Job summary

Lam Research Malaysia is seeking aFacilities Services Manager to oversee semiconductor manufacturing facilities and lead the integrated facilities management team. You will ensure safe, efficient operation of Cleanroom HVAC, chillers, air compressors, vacuum and high/low voltage systems, while managing budgets and vendor performance.

The role requires strong communication, leadership and organizational skills, with 8+ years in facilities management and direct outsourcing supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8+ years facilities management experience with direct management responsibility for outsourced facility service providers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure vendors’ performance to facilities operations requirements.
• Lead the integrated facilities management team to maintain Cleanroom HVAC systems, chillers, air compressors, vacuum & HT/LV electrical systems etc.
• Plan and monitor staffing levels and utilization of IFM resources, including overtime.
• Conduct facilities inspections and prepare financial/business reports; review price quotes for parts, services and labor.
• Oversee invoice processing and cost center coding; provide supervision, recruitment, and performance management.

The impact you’ll make

Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

What you’ll do

Manages vendor relationships and ensures vendors performance to facilities operations requirements. You will manage the integrated facilities management team to upkeep Cleanroom HVAC systems, chillers, air compressors, vacuum & HT/LV electrical systems etc. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of IFM resources, including overtime.

Responsible for facilities inspections and reports.Conducts financial/business analysis including preparation of reports. Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for facility service and small projects. Prepares operating budget and variance reports.

Responsible for invoice processing and accuracy of cost center coding.Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, and corrective action. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with company values.

Who we’re looking for

We are seeking for Facilities Services Manager who is passionate about managing semiconductor manufacturing operation and facilities associated. The ideal candidate must have semiconductor operation including cleanroom managing experience. We need strong skills in communication, teamwork & leadership capability to manage facilities team and multi-layer contractors.

Preferred qualifications
