Job summary

Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking a hands-on engineer to ensure first pass yield, OBEs and warranty metrics are met across electronics products.

You will perform failure analyses on defects, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with production, contract manufacturers, and engineering teams. The role emphasizes cost reduction, quality improvements, and supply chain optimization, with opportunities to apply Six Sigma or LEAN methodologies and to identify

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Microelectronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Relevant working experience in the same field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures product meets first pass yield, OBE, and warranty failure rates.
• Performs failure analysis on OBE defects and warranty failures and make the necessary improvements to enhance the quality and reliability of the product.
• Continuously embark on initiatives to enhance product yield, quality, reliability, and cost improvement.
• Solves manufacturing/hardware related issues by using effective RCA methods, Six Sigma or LEAN methodology
• Provides support to production to ensure continuous manufacturing and meet shipment revenue.
• Works with Contract Manufacturer to meet quality specification.
• Identify and manage ERP data such as bill of material.
• Plans, evaluate and recommend technical, quality and cost specifications to meet design and business growth objectives and supply chain optimization. Identifies and qualifies alternative materials when is needed

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Microelectronics, Telecommunications or similar discipline
