Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking a seasoned mechanical engineering leader in Malaysia to drive supplier strategy and ensure supply assurance. The role focuses on leading strategic suppliers, guiding technology development, and exploring new materials or processes to cut costs while boosting quality and reliability.

You will collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality and worldwide suppliers, delivering technical guidance and mentoring engineers to strengthen internal capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Motivated with strong leadership, communication, analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic suppliers and influence commodity strategy to ensure assurance of supply (AOS).
• Drive supplier technology development and quality performance (DFX, RCCA, 8D).
• Explore and lead alternate materials/processes/new technology to achieve cost savings and quality improvements.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing and worldwide suppliers to resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor engineers and strengthen internal capabilities.

• Provide technical guidance, mentor engineers and strengthen internal technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.


• Motivated individual with strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills.


• Preferably 8-11 years of experience in relevant fields. (Eg: materials engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, etc)


• Strong knowledge in Design, DFM, RCA, CAD, FEA tools and mechanical parts fabrication processes (e.g. Sheet Metal, Plastic, Packaging, Additive Manufacturing etc.).
