Job summary

Texas Instruments Electronics Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Equipment Engineer to drive the MES rollout for Test and Plating lines. This multi-phase role begins with a 1‑month TI orientation before joining a critical MES implementation project team for 1–2 years, after which you transition into a production role.

Qualifications

• Minimum education in engineering; related fields acceptable.
• Strong hands-on semiconductor equipment experience in Test and Plating (minimum 2 years).
• Experience with MES platforms and integration in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• MES Implementation (Project Phase): Represent Test and Plating equipment engineering in the MES rollout, define workflows, recipe controls, and equipment states.
• Integration & Data: Translate Test and Plating requirements into digital designs; define data needs for critical process parameters.
• Validation: Validate integration scenarios and support UAT and deployment.
• Sustaining (Post-Project Phase): Transition to production to manage equipment reliability and use MES-driven data to optimize Test throughput and Plating process parameters.
