Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Merchandiser to travel to assigned outlets across Malaysia, following the daily route plan and ensuring shelves are well stocked.

You will arrange products per planogram, set up promotional displays, monitor stock levels and expiry dates, coordinate with Sales Representatives, and report back on visibility and KPI targets.

This role involves visiting outlets in Selangor and surrounding areas to support promotions and maintain merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned outlets according to the daily route plan.
• Ensure products are sufficiently stocked and properly displayed on shelves.
• Arrange products according to merchandising guidelines and planogram.
• Monitor stock levels and identify low-stock or out-of-stock products.
• Check product expiry dates and ensure FIFO practices.
• Replenish products from backroom to selling area when required.
• Ensure promotional materials, price tags, posters, and displays are properly placed.
• Set up and maintain promotional displays and special displays.
• Monitor competitors' products, pricing, promotions, and shelf positioning.
• Take photos of product displays and submit outlet visit reports.
• Coordinate with Sales Representatives regarding stock shortages, orders, and customer requirements.
• Report damaged, expired, missing, or slow-moving products to the relevant department.
• Maintain good relationships with outlet staff and ensure cooperation on merchandising activities.
• Support new product launches and promotional campaigns at customer outlets.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with company merchandising standards.
• Provide feedback on market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Achieve assigned merchandising KPIs and outlet coverage targets.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Merchandising Manager or Management.
