Job summary

AT&S AUSTRIA TECHNOLOGIE & SYSTEMTECHNIK (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced engineer to lead technical discussions and ensure BB, PB and HU projects meet design and safety standards. You will review deliverables, manage risk assessments, and drive interface coordination across facilities, manufacturing and EHS teams.

You will also develop utility capacity analyses, pursue value engineering, and support procurement with technical evaluations to enable timely production ramp‑ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience within semiconductor or industrial construction projects.
• Strong background in design, project execution, and construction support.
• Technical expertise in MEP and factory cleanroom system.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage complex problems and provide practical solutions.
• Strong teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in all technical discussions with consultants, contractors, vendors and stakeholders for BB, PB and HU mechanical, electrical, utility and cleanroom systems.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Lead design reviews, constructability reviews, risk assessments (HAZOP, SIL) and performance evaluations for BB, PB, and HU systems.
• Develop and maintain utility demand matrices and capacity assessments, identify gaps and propose upgrades.
• Manage planning, coordination and execution of BB, PB, and HU scopes across interfaces with facilities, manufacturing and operations.
• Contribute to cost–saving, value engineering and optimization initiatives across BB, PB and HU scopes.
