Job summary

Servier Malaysia in Kota Kinabalu is seeking a Medical Product Specialist to promote our ethical, market-leading products to general practitioners, healthcare professionals and pharmacists. You will drive territorial sales and growth by executing promotional activities and CME programs in line with company policy.

The role requires a pharmacist, science graduate or para-medical professional, with driving license and a proactive, persuasive communicator.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist, science graduate or para-medical professional; non-science graduates may be considered with 3+ years pharma sales.
• Must own a car and valid driving licence.
• Malaysian citizen or holds eligible residence status.
• Self-motivated with initiative and a strong sales/marketing inclination.
• Pleasant, dynamic with good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality calls, promotional activities and CME per company policy.
• Build and promote positive relationships with HCPs to grow customer base.
• Facilitate enlistment of key and newly launched products.
• Engage HCPs in disease, product and patient discussions.
• Convince HCPs to prescribe our products using clinical data and selling skills.

Medical Product Specialist

The primary responsibility of the Medical Product Specialist is to promote our ethical, market leading products to general practitioners, healthcare professionals and pharmacists.

Our Medical Product Specialists will be accountable in achieving territorial sales and growth target by implementing promotional and sales strategies. They will also ensure consistent implementation of Quality Calls, Promotional Activities and Continuing Medical Education of our partner doctors

Job Description

• Execute quality calls, promotional activities, and Continuous Medical Education (CME) in accordance with the Company’s policies
• Build and promote positive working relationships with the HCPs to ensure a strong customer base
• Facilitate enlistment of the key and newly launched products
• Actively engage HCPs in disease, product and patient discussion
• Communicate and convince HCP to prescribe our products as a solution utilizing effective selling skills and clinical data by highlighting
  • Key points on how our products are solutions to the medical and patient need
  • Clear clinical benefits to the patients

Candidate Profile

• Pharmacist, science graduate or para-medical professional. Alternatively, non-science graduate might be considered with at least three years of successful track record in pharmaceutical sales.
• Possess a car and a valid driving license.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Self-motivated achiever with initiative, enthusiasm to learn and a strong inclination towards sales and marketing.
• Pleasant and dynamic personality, good communication skills and team mindset.
