Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre in Malacca City seeks a qualified MBBS physician to join its Accident & Emergency department. You will participate in 24-hour shift rotations and provide emergency care, referring complex cases to rostered consultants as needed.

Work includes collaboration with nursing and operations teams, and coverage as wellness clinician at the Health Screening Centre Department. MMC registration with BLS & ACLS is required, along with excellent communication skills.

Formación

• MBBS degree and registration with MMC.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accident & Emergency.
• Valid MMC Annual Practicing License, BLS & ACLS credentials.
• Patient‑oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Mature with pleasant personality and professional conduct.

Responsabilidades

• Perform medical examination and consultations for patients.
• Participate in a 24-hour shift rotation to ensure hospital coverage.
• Provide emergency treatment and refer to rostered consultants when needed.
• Attend to medical emergencies at ward level and perform required procedures.
• Ensure ED services run smoothly with nursing staff and collaborate with operations.
• Provide coverage as wellness clinician at Health Screening Centre Department.

Descripción del empleo

• To perform medical examination and consultation to all patients within the scope of duties and responsibilities.
• Participates in a shift rotation to provide 24 hour service to the Hospital.
• Provides medical treatment for emergencies and refer cases to specific Consultants on the roster or to the requested consultant.
• Attend to all medical emergency at ward level and to provide/carry out medical procedures where required.
• Ensures emergency department services are running smoothly and efficiently together with nursing.
• Works alongside the operational team and provides cover as the wellness clinician at Health Screening Centre Department.

Requirements:

• MBBS
• Minimum 5 years working experience in Accident & Emergency unit in an established private Medical Centres or
  major public hospital
• Clean record of professional practices against any legal claim
• Registered with MMC and possess a valid Annual Practicing License, BLS & ACLS Certificate
• Customer oriented
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Matured with pleasant personality
