Job summary

Integrated Reference Laboratories Sdn Bhd, based at Old Klang Road in Kuala Lumpur, invites fresh graduates to join as a Medical Laboratory Technician. You will perform routine diagnostic tests and operate lab equipment under supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SOPs.

You should be computer literate, detail oriented, and able to work independently or in a team. English and Bahasa Malaysia are required for day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Biomedical Science is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sample handling.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests in areas such as Hematology, Immunology, and Chemical Pathology.
• Understand pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes in the lab.
• Operate and maintain laboratory machines and equipment.
• Monitor and participate in IQC and EQA programs.
• Participate in inventory control and stock management of reagents and consumables.
• Adhere to SOPs, safety guidelines, and accreditation requirements (MS ISO 15189).
• Support the laboratory management system and assist superior with tasks.

- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology / Biomedical Science or equivalent

- Able to perform routine diagnostic tests (blood, urine, etc) and using laboratory equipment

- Computer literate and detail oriented

- Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks & work as team

- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia

- To perform routine laboratory tests in areas such as Hematology, Immunology, Chemical Pathology

- To understand the pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical processes within the laboratory

- To operate and maintain laboratory machines and equipment

- Monitor and participate in internal quality control (IQC) and external quality assurance (EQA) programs

- Participate in inventory control and stock management of laboratory reagents and consumables

- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines and accreditation requirements (MS ISO 15189)

- Participate in all tasks related to the management system within the laboratory
