Demant is expanding a new software development team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to build hearing and balance diagnostic solutions used by healthcare professionals worldwide. The Test Developer will join an international R&D group and work on modern .NET desktop applications, device communication, cloud-enabled services, and DevOps automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Professional experience in software testing or test automation.
Experience with TestComplete, Pytest, Selenium or similar automation frameworks.
Experience with source control and DevOps practices (Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test solutions throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality releases.
Work closely with developers, testers, architects, product owners, and domain experts to translate ideas and requirements into robust software solutions.
Plan and execute functional, regression, performance, and security testing while working with developers to identify defects early and improve software quality.
Contribute to technical discussions and help drive decisions around maintainability, performance, scalability, and software quality.
Apply engineering best practices, automated testing, and continuous integration approaches to ensure reliable, maintainable, and well-tested software.
Continuously learn new technologies, contribute ideas, and help improve our products, testing practices and processes.
