Job summary

Kanry Search is offering a Media Intern role in Kuala Lumpur to manage content pages, brainstorm engaging ideas, assist with podcast/video productions, and craft short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

You will work closely with our team through the full content process from idea to publish, gaining hands-on experience across brand media platforms and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Currently studying in any field and available for a minimum 12 weeks internship.
• Comfortable with social media and understands what makes content engaging.
• Creative and enjoys coming up with new ideas.
• Comfortable being involved in shoots and content production.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Basic video editing, photography or design skills are a plus, but not compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and grow our social media and content pages
• Brainstorm trending, relevant and engaging content topics and ideas
• Plan content from both podcast and general social media angles
• Assist with video shoots, interviews, podcasts and other productions
• Create short-form content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Develop creative content to promote the company, its projects and media pages
• Keep up with social media trends and identify opportunities for new content
• Work with the team on content calendars and upcoming campaigns
