Job summary

Frencken Mechatronics Malaysia is seeking an Engineering Intern to support the CEM Engineering team in daily manufacturing activities and documentation. This role offers hands-on exposure to electronic manufacturing operations and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects.

You will assist in process monitoring, data collection, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and efficiency in production environments.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in daily production and engineering activities.
• Support process improvement and CI projects to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Prepare and update engineering documents, including SOPs and process flow charts.
• Assist in collecting, compiling, and analysing production data for reports.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Support NPI, engineering trials, and product validation activities where applicable.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Manufacturing and other departments on engineering tasks.
