Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable engineer to join our team in Subang Jaya. The role focuses on assembling, installing, and testing instruments and equipment, with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting and quality improvements.

The position requires a degree in mechanical, electronics, or instrumentation fields and at least two years of relevant experience. Independent work and teamwork are both essential, and familiarity with instrumentation and electronics assembly is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics or Instrumentation or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in instrumentation, electronics assembly, or manufacturing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and test instruments and equipment, including soldering, wiring, and cabling.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and improvement projects.
• Monitor consumables and component inventory to support operations.
• Conduct testing and analysis to improve product quality and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's Quality Management System (QMS), safety requirements, and work procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
