Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to assist the engineering team in planning, implementing, and monitoring mechanical and facility maintenance activities within a hospital setting.

You will gain hands-on exposure to HVAC systems and other mechanical infrastructure, support PPM and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures, and prepare technical reports, inspection checklists, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (PROTÉGÉ Programme).
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance works.
• Support engineers in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical system breakdowns.
• Monitor the performance and condition of mechanical systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare and update maintenance reports, technical documentation, and inspection checklists.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other departments for project execution.
