Job summary

GENIUS COOLING TOWERS GLOBAL SDN BHD is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Bandar Puteri, Puchong. You will study tender specs, design cooling towers, prepare proposals, and produce site drawings and AutoCAD drawings to support sales and customers.

The ideal candidate has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years in mechanical design, proficiency in AutoCAD, knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia skills. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• AutoCAD proficiency is a MUST.
• SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Study tender specifications and provide comments to the sales team.
• Design and select cooling towers and prepare customer proposals.
• Produce engineering data such as loading, noise, plinth and electrical details for sales or customers.
• Study project site drawings and design cooling towers accordingly; produce site drawings.
• Produce AutoCAD drawings when required.
• Research cooling tower development and improvements.
• Assist project teams with site or equipment drawings.
• Visit project sites as necessary.
• Ensure cooling tower series pass CTI requirements.
• Carry out cooling tower performance testing and related studies.
• Assist and support the manager to accomplish the job.

Mechanical Engineer (Bandar Puteri, Puchong)

• Study tender specifications and provide comments and recommendations to sales team.
• To design, select cooling tower and prepare proposal to the customer.
• Produce engineering data such as loading data, noise data, plinth detail and electrical parts details to sales and marketing teams or customers.
• Study projects site drawing/detail, select and design cooling tower accordingly and produce site drawings.
• To produce necessary Auto Cad drawing whenever required.
• Study and research on cooling tower development and improvement.
• Assist project teams in related site or equipment drawings
• Visit the project site and study when necessary.
• Ensure all cooling tower series pass and comply to CTI requirements.
• Carry out cooling tower performance testing and all related study and preparation.
• To assist and support the manager to accomplishing the job.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in using AutoCAD Software is a MUST.
• Knowledge in Solidworks is an advantage. (Training will be provided).
• Proficiency in verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Minimum 2 years experience in any Mechanical Engineering design field.

Working hour: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)
