Job summary

Aurionpro in Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer / Industrial Designer to contribute beyond CAD, from concept through production and troubleshooting, collaborating with production, quality control, electronics, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable products for manufacturing.

You will develop mechanical and industrial designs for transit and payment system products, create 3D models and production drawings, support prototype testing, and coordinate with suppliers and teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Strong experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, plastics, machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with product validation, QC processes, GD&T, prototype development, and production support.
• Portfolio is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and industrial designs for transit and payment system products.
• Create 3D models, assemblies, production drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and manufacturing activities.
• Coordinate with electronics, software, suppliers, and production teams during development and production stages.
