Job summary

Our client, a globally celebrated agricultural conglomerate, is launching a state-of-the-art central kitchen in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Project Manager / Production Specialist will drive greenfield setup and oversee daily meat-processing operations, quality control, and B2B logistics for high-end restaurant and hospitality clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Technology/Engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on operational experience in meat processing or central kitchen.
• Deep knowledge of butchery, portion-control, cold storage, and packaging tech.
• Solid understanding of HACCP and local Halal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greenfield facility setup including site selection, licensing, layout design and equipment sourcing.
• Oversee daily butchery production, portioning accuracy, and waste minimization.
• Ensure food safety and cold-chain integrity with HACCP/GMP and Halal guidelines.
• Coordinate supply chain, inventory management, and B2B fulfillment with logistics teams.
• Recruit, train and lead production crew ensuring quality standards.
