Job summary

Aitek Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Lead to shape and operationalise the enterprise MDM and Data Governance model across the full SAP S/4HANA lifecycle—from design and build through deployment, run, and transition into BAU.

The role acts as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership, col presenting the MDM workstream with Business Process Owners, Data Stewards, and SI teams to ensure master data is fit-for-purpose and governed by design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on experience with master data in enterprise contexts.
• Experience defining governance models and operating models for MDM.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business, IT and SI teams.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise MDM and governance models aligned to strategy and SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead cross-country data design conflicts and data ownership definitions.
• Oversee build, test, deploy, and transition to BAU for master data programs.
• Provide guidance on data standards, rules, and validation workflows.
