Job summary

Unison Group is seeking an experienced Microsoft Defender for Endpoint SME / Implementation Team Lead to drive enterprise-wide endpoint security implementation and migration activities. You will translate approved MDE designs into production-ready configurations and lead onboarding and policy deployment across the organization.

You will manage migrations from existing antivirus/EDR platforms, coordinate pilot groups, deployment rings, and phased enforcement, and ensure validation, rollback

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint deployment and configuration.
• Proven ability to migrate endpoints from AV/EDR to MDE at scale.
• Strong knowledge of device onboarding and policy deployment processes.
• Experience in enterprise security operations and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end MDE implementation activities across enterprise environments.
• Oversee endpoint onboarding, EDR, Defender Antivirus, ASR, and Web/Network protections.
• Manage migration activities including discovery, compatibility assessments, pilot groups, deployment rings, and cutover.
• Translate designs into configuration workbooks, deployment plans, and test cases.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, RAID logs, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Identity, Endpoint, IT Security, and client teams.
