Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a seasoned procurement and materials management leader to drive cost-efficient sourcing, inventory control, and strategic supplier relationships across global operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of management experience; a Master’s degree is preferred. You will lead cost-reduction initiatives, monitor spend trends, and collaborate with finance to optimize inventory and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of management experience.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead strategies for efficient and cost-effective materials flow.
• Lead sourcing teams to identify and implement sourcing strategies and best practices.
• Plan activities related to timely and cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
• Ensure global strategies and policies are developed and implemented driving best practices.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, material control systems and metrics to reduce costs and streamline procedures.
• Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure availability of materials and minimum inventory levels.
• Collaborate with Global Commodity management and strategic supply chain teams on sourcing strategies including supplier selection, risk analysis and capacity management.
• Coordinate with Finance on inventory carrying costs and planning requirements.
• Interact with executives and major clients influencing negotiations.
