Job summary

Guna Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supply Planning professional to ensure material availability and maintain planning integrity in a manufacturing setting. You will work with cross-functional teams to align demand, supply, and production schedules.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, collaboration with stakeholders, and proactive management of material flow and supplier performance within a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Supply Planning, Material Planning, Production Planning, Procurement, or related functions.
• Experience in manufacturing is an advantage.
• Understanding of SCM principles and integrated planning processes.
• Familiarity with Raw Material Planning, Production Scheduling, Inventory Management, and Supplier Coordination.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is preferred.
• Exposure to MRP, OMP, Business Objects, or other planning/reporting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage raw material call-offs and ensure material availability for production needs.
• Review MRP requirements and maintain raw material orders per planning needs.
• Coordinate with Production Schedulers, Regional Planners, Sourcing Teams, Suppliers, and Operations teams.
• Monitor inventory levels, storage capacity, stock reconciliation, and material availability.
• Support supplier performance management, KPI monitoring, and invoice verification.
• Perform root-cause analysis and support corrective actions related to shortages, inventory discrepancies, production disruptions, and supply risks.
• Support S&OE activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and supply chain projects.
