Job summary

Arrow Electronics in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Materials Planner to manage inventory planning and ensure uninterrupted supply for lower-dollar, lower-complexity demand. You will review backlog, prepare forecasts via the e-compass system, and manage exceptions while maintaining robust inventory availability.

The role requires a bachelor's degree with 2–4 years related experience, and Mandarin language skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–4 years related experience.
• Preferable Mandarin Speaking.

Responsibilities

• Plan and pipeline inventory for low to medium complex customer demand.
• Review backlog and shortage reports to assure uninterrupted supply of inventory.
• Prepare Arrow generated forecasts for e-compass. Upload and manage exceptions from e-compass processing.
• Maintain manual bonds to assure uninterrupted availability of inventory.
