Job summary

Agilent Technologies Inc. seeks a Materials Engineer to support mechanical and plastics-related materials, improve supplier part quality, and evaluate alternative materials or suppliers to maintain quality, supply, and pricing.

The role includes providing technical support for NPI and product transfer and assisting manufacturing with material issues. The position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Materials Engineering with 3–5 years of related experience,

Analyzes inspection/test data and feeds back to suppliers and internal teams.
Leads in sourcing substitute materials to reduce cost while ensuring supply and quality.
Assists manufacturing in resolving material-related issues and supports NPI & product transfer.
