GULATIS GLOBAL BUSINESS SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Master Tailor / Alteration to provide professional garment alterations, fitting and tailoring services in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure all garments meet customers' requirements and the company's quality standards.

Responsibilities include taking accurate measurements, performing hemming, resizing and fittings, handling delicate fabrics such as silk, and advising customers on alterations to achieve optimal fit.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Master Tailor, Tailor or Alteration Specialist.
• Strong skills in sewing, cutting, garment fitting and alterations.
• Good knowledge of different fabrics and garment construction.
• Experience handling delicate fabrics, especially silk, is an advantage.
• Attention to detail with a strong commitment to workmanship and quality.
• Able to work independently and manage alteration deadlines.
• Responsible, disciplined and customer oriented.
• Good communication skills and a positive working attitude.

Responsabilités

• Perform garment alterations, including hemming, resizing, shortening, lengthening and fitting adjustments.

• Perform cutting, sewing, stitching and garment adjustments according to customer requirements.
• Handle alterations for various types of fabrics, including silk and delicate materials.
• Inspect finished garments to ensure quality, accuracy and neat workmanship.
• Operate and maintain sewing machines and tailoring equipment properly.
• Advise customers on suitable alterations and fitting solutions.
• Complete alteration work within the required timeline.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe tailoring workspace.
• Coordinate with sales staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
