Job summary

Celestica—Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Master Planner to guide master planning and production scheduling for multiple customers. You will lead the SCM team, provide data-driven decisions on labor and equipment, and coordinate cross-functional planning to meet business goals.

The role requires a bachelor's degree with at least 6 years in electronics manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree with minimum 6 years related experience.
Good knowledge of electronics manufacturing environment, materials and processes.
Strong analytical and statistical skills.
Ability to lead and coach teams.
Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Oversee master planning for the site and drive production scheduling.
Provide leadership for daily production control and readiness decisions.
Develop plans and provide data to support strategic labour and equipment decisions.
Interface with Business Office, IE, Production, Procurement, Planning and customers to align production/shipments plans.
Identify process improvements and participate in their design and implementation.
Coordinate planning for customer requirements and volume changes.
Track and report SCM metrics by customer by month.
Develop and deploy new planning processes for the SCM team.
Support pilot runs, new products, line re-assignments and engineering changes.
