Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Master Data Manager to govern enterprise master data across materials, vendors, customers, and pricing within SAP/S4HANA environments. You will ensure data accuracy, establish governance standards, and drive improvements with close collaboration across Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT.

The role emphasizes data quality, process discipline, and continuous improvement of master data governance and related KPIs in a multi-site supply chain context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree - Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Master Data Management, Supply Chain Operations, ERP Governance, or related functions.
• Strong understanding of master data governance principles and operational processes.
• Experience working with SAP ERP / S4HANA environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of cross-functional business operations and supply chain workflows.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting, and data analysis.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in electronics, telco, retail, distribution, or 3PL/4PL industries is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Govern master data across materials, vendors, customers, pricing, and related records.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
• Establish naming conventions, approvals, and data control processes.
• Monitor First-Time-Right master data creation performance to reduce errors.
• Support data migration, cleansing, and validation during projects and enhancements.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and process governance for master data.
