Job summary

OCBC Malaysia invites applications for a Risk & Control role in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive internal process reviews, identify gaps, and implement mitigation controls to safeguard operations.

Responsibilities include daily deal review, legal trawls, monthly reporting, and coordinating RCSA/RRSA submissions. You will also manage access controls, BCP/DR testing, and risk-awareness initiatives within the team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of treasury products is a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work fast, independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Drive internal process reviews, identify gaps and implement mitigation controls.
• Perform daily review of deals deletions and obtain approvals from the designated authority.
• Carry out daily legal trawl on Treasury Customer database as notified by RCU/Legal Dept.
• Prepare monthly management/KRI reporting according to deadlines.
• Coordinate and review half-yearly RCSA and RRSA submissions.
• Ensure system access matrices align to job functions and profiles.
• Establish control procedures to mitigate risks from product launches or regulatory changes.
• Monitor and follow up with departments to close audit items and risk gaps.
• Act as BCP coordinator, update BCP plan and coordinate DR/BCP testing.
• Promote risk awareness programs within the department.
