Job summary

Vytera Drone Tech, a drone solutions startup in Malaysia, is seeking a talented content editor to transform raw drone footage into engaging marketing material. You will own day-to-day publishing across LinkedIn and other social channels, write plain-language copy, and turn projects into case studies and reels.

You will work directly with the founders, edit 2D/3D visuals, manage media library, and ensure brand consistency while exploring basic AI tools to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing and content creation work.
• Real proficiency in at least one editing suite — Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
• Clear written English; you'll be writing copy that clients read.
• Comfortable enough with generative AI to make changes without breaking things.
• Genuine interest in learning what the company does and the technical domain.
• Good judgement about confidentiality; ability to check footage against NDAs before publishing.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day publishing calendar across LinkedIn (primary channel), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Write post copy that explains technical work in plain language
• Turn completed projects into case-study posts and carousels
• Track performance metrics, report monthly, and adjust content strategy based on results
• Cut raw drone footage into short-form vertical clips and longer showcase reels
• Edit screen recordings and flythroughs of 3D models, point clouds, and orthomosaics
• Add captions, titles, and light motion graphics while maintaining brand consistency
• Organise and tag media library for easy retrieval
• Prep shot lists before site visits to capture usable marketing footage
• Maintain a content backlog and manage basic asset organisation with naming conventions and folder structure

Vytera Drone Tech generates aerial and ground data for clients across agriculture, construction, facilities, energy, infrastructure, and industrial sites. You'll turn raw drone footage and technical content into marketing material that communicates the value of completed projects to engineers, project managers, and facility owners. You'll also help improve the company website.
