Job summary

JIN SHUN FATT TRADING SDN BHD is seeking a proactive Social Media Specialist to manage our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok presence. You will plan and create content, shoot and edit short-form videos, and craft captions that highlight our aluminium doors, windows and related products.

The role requires a good eye for visuals, independent work, and a willingness to learn about our offerings. Responsibilities include posting content, monitoring engagement, assisting with ads, and researching trends

Job description

• - Manage company social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• - Plan and create social media content
• - Shoot and edit short-form videos
• - Edit videos using CapCut or similar software
• - Take photos/videos of products, showroom and completed projects
• - Create promotional materials for aluminium doors, windows, auto gates and related products
• - Write captions and marketing copy
• - Schedule and publish social media posts
• - Assist with Facebook/Instagram/TikTok advertising
• - Monitor social media performance and engagement
• - Research current content trends and develop new content ideas
• - Support company promotions, campaigns and events
• - Perform other marketing-related tasks assigned by management
• - Creative and willing to suggest new ideas
• - Proactive — able to create content without waiting for every instruction
• - Understands basic social media trends
• - Has a good eye for visual presentation
• - Comfortable taking photos/videos
• - Able to work independently
• - Willing to learn about the company's products
• - Able to turn ordinary products/projects into interesting content

3) Must Have

• - Basic Canva skills
• - Basic CapCut/video editing skills
• - Familiar with Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
• - Creative and willing to learn
• - Comfortable using smartphone/camera for content creation
• - Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage

4) Preferred

• - 1–2 years of social media/marketing experience
• - Portfolio of previous social media/video work
• - Experience running Meta/TikTok advertisements
• - Experience in renovation, construction, interior design or home improvement industry
