A leading retail firm in Malaysia is seeking a Marketing Executive to support in-store marketing activities and execute promotional strategies. The successful candidate will monitor market trends and collaborate on brand initiatives. A diploma/degree in Marketing or Business Administration and 2-5 years of relevant experience in the retail sector are required. The role demands proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Support in‑store marketing activities and seasonal promotions, including coordination of product launches and campaign rollouts.
Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotional strategies to achieve sales and brand growth objectives.
Research market trends, competitors, and consumer insights to identify new opportunities and propose creative marketing ideas.
Coordinate and participate in key brand events such as new store openings.
Track, analyse, and report campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities across outlets.
Liaise with external partners, designers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing projects.
Collaborate closely with designers to craft compelling VM artwork that aligns seamlessly with the brand's visual identity.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using data to make informed recommendations for optimization.
Support the development of marketing materials, including brochures and presentations.
Track marketing expenses to ensure campaigns remain within budget.
Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing initiatives, offering valuable insights on key performance indicators.
Generate weekly and monthly performance reports to improve revenue and market share.
Diploma/Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
Minimum 2‑5 years of relevant marketing experience in the retail industry.
Experience in fashion, jewellery, or watches industries.
Knowledge of VM techniques, visual arrangement, window set‑up, in‑store display, etc.
Detail‑oriented, proactive and strategic thinking, with good time management and an organized approach to tasks.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Able to work independently and as a team.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
