Job summary

GL Education Group Sdn Bhd (Global Leaders Academy) in Kuala Lumpur invites a hands-on Marketing Executive to own and execute our marketing strategy. You will drive campaigns across digital and offline channels, manage social media, and craft bilingual content for English and Mandarin audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels from start to finish.
• Manage GL Academy's social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, RED/Xiaohongshu, TikTok, etc.), including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
• Produce marketing content — copywriting, graphics, short videos, and promotional materials — for both English- and Mandarin-speaking audiences.
• Run and optimise paid advertising campaigns (Meta, Google, and others) within budget.
• Support student recruitment and enquiry conversion, working closely with admissions and counselling teams.
• Maintain and update the school website and assist with SEO and online visibility.
• Plan and coordinate promotional events, open days, and seasonal campaigns (e.g. summer programmes).
• Track campaign performance, analyse results, and report on what's working.
• Identify new marketing opportunities, partnerships, and channels for growth.

About Us

Global Leaders Academy (GL Academy) is a Ministry of Education–recognised English language school and academic development centre based in Plaza Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. We deliver intensive English programmes, IELTS/TOEFL preparation, business English, junior and summer programmes, and IGCSE/A-Level academic support to a diverse local and international student community.

We are looking for a hands‑on, self‑driven Marketing Executive to take ownership of our marketing — someone who can plan the strategy and roll up their sleeves to execute it.

What You'll Do

• Plan, manage, and execute marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels from start to finish.

What We're Looking For

• Proven ability to manage, plan, and execute marketing independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and spoken communication in English and Mandarin (essential — to engage our bilingual audience).
• Hands‑on experience across digital marketing: social media, content creation, paid ads, and basic design tools.
• Self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable owning projects end to end.
• A creative thinker who can also deliver on the practical execution.

Bonus points for:

• Prior experience in a language school, tuition centre, or education sector.
• Additional language proficiency (e.g. Korean, Japanese, Malay, Arabic).
• Familiarity with design/video tools (Canva, Adobe, CapCut) and analytics platforms.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary: RM3,800 – RM6,000 per month, depending on experience.
