Job summary

Pelangi Publishing Group Berhad in Bandar Baru Bangi seeks a Marketing professional to develop and execute plans, manage events, and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will work with designers to craft marketing materials for sales teams, online retailers, partners, and e-commerce platforms.

The role also involves stakeholder management with authors, teachers, vendors, dealers and retail partners, plus supporting dealers with materials and digital campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Advertising/Media, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing and events.
• Good written and verbal communication in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia (if required).
• Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as needed.
• Must be willing to work in Bandar Baru Bangi.

Responsibilities

• Marketing Strategy & Planning: Contribute ideas to the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies, translating campaign objectives into actionable tactical plans.
• Event Management: Plan and execute marketing events, including exhibitions and bookfairs, managing all logistics and on-site execution.
• Marketing Materials Development: Collaborate with designers to create marketing materials for sales teams, online retailers, partners, and e-commerce platforms.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with authors, teachers, production vendors, dealers and retail partners.
• Dealer/Distributor Support: Develop and distribute marketing materials to support dealers, partners, and distributors in their online, in-store, and event-based sales efforts.
• Manage inventory and stock of marketing materials.
• Digital Marketing & Social Media: Organise content creation for posting across digital and social platforms.

Education

Marketing Materials Development: Collaborate with designers to create a range of marketing materials (both digital and print) for sales teams, online retailers, partners, and e-commerce platforms.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including authors, teachers, production vendors, dealers and retail partners.

Dealer/Distributor Support: Develop and distribute marketing materials to support dealers, partners, and distributors in their online, in-store, and event-based sales efforts.

Manage inventory and stock of marketing materials.

Digital Marketing & Social Media: Organise content creation for posting across assigned digital and social media platforms (e.g., websites, commerce platforms, social media)

Team Collaboration: Cross collaborate externally and internally with teams, provide updates and ensure all projects are concluded on time.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Advertising/Media, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing and events.

Good written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Willingness to travel within Malaysia (if required)

Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as needed.

Must be willing to work in Bandar Baru Bangi.
